This course is a comprehensive two-part course offering standard first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills. Certification is valid for three (3) years.




Blended learning is a flexible combination of online cognitive training and in-class instruction and skills development. The online portion of the Standard First Aid course consists of 6.5 hours of self-paced online training, followed by 6.5 hours of in-class instruction. Both sections of this training are required to complete your Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification.

Pre-Requisites: Although there are no pre-requisites to taking this course, you must complete the online component of the blended learning course prior to attending the in-person skills training. The completion date must be within six (6) months
of the online portion.


This course is appropriate for anyone who requires certification in SFA/CPR Level C for personal or professional reasons. Those with current certification at this level and seeking to re-new their certificates should enroll in our Blended Learning SFA/CPR C Recertification Course. .







First Aid and CPR Training.

All workplaces in Ontario that are covered by The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) are required to certify Staff in First Aid and CPR. This certification must be issued by an Authorized Training Provider. CERT has been recognized as such and has been delivering training for the past 25 years. In this time we have successfully training over 15,000 people and in doing so helped to save the lives of many.

Upon enrollment, you will be able to access the online portion of the Standard First Aid and CPR - C Blended Learning Program. An email will be sent to you to select your in person training sessions. These courses currently run out of our North York Location.

The Fee includes: a downloadable First Aid & CPR Manual.

Upon successful completion of both the online and in-class components students will be awarded certification in Standard First Aid and CPR Level C. This certificate is valid for 3 Years and recognized by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. This certificate is valid across Ontario.

By registering for this course, you agree to the following terms:


  • Online training must be successfully completed prior to the in-class start date. Otherwise the participant will not eligible to attend the in-class session.
  • Refunds are not granted for any failure by the participant to complete the online portion prior to the course date or failure to attend the in class session.
  • The in-class session must be completed within 90 days of the successful completion of the online portion of the course.
  • Sale of the course is considered final once online access has been issued to the participant.
  • Changes to existing in-class booking must be received at least 7 days prior to the in-class start date.

If you are ill and scheduled for an in class session, please reschedule your training session tp a future date. Proof of illness must be provided (doctors note).
